The White House is a crisis pregnancy home, located in Anderson, South Carolina, with the capacity to house up to six residents. The home provides a safe haven for women who need housing during their pregnancy. Potential residents are first interviewed by the house parent of the home and the director of the Anderson Care Pregnancy Clinic to determine eligibility. During their stay, all services are provided at no charge, however the resident must agree to certain guidelines in order to qualify as a resident. All residents must be 18 years old or older and be pregnant.
Residents will receive training in parenting, life skills, decision making, financial planning, resume writing, bible study and childbirth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How old are the girls who stay at the home? We serve ladies 18 years old or older.
How are along in my pregnancy do I need to be before I can come? Preferably 4 months or less. However there could be exceptions
Can I be forced to come? No, you must make the decision to come and have a willing heart to work the program.
How long can I stay? Until 4-6 weeks after delivery.
Do you provide an place for me to live after my baby is born? We will assist you in making plans and exploring possible house options.
Can I have visitors? The decision to have visitors is up to the house parent and CPC director.
Do I have to live in South Carolina to come to The White House? No, you may live anywhere and come to The White House.
If I come to the Home, will I be forced to place my baby up for adoption? No, we do not suggest or encourage you should do with your baby. It is your decision to place or parent, but we do present both options for you.
How many girls are allowed to stay at the home? We can house up to six residents at a time.
What do I bring when I come? We provide everything you need. Just bring your personal belongings that you have or will need for the time you will be here. We will be able to help with whatever you don’t have.
Do you provide medical help? Yes, we provide transportation to/from your doctor and also assist you in getting Medicaid/insurance for your pre-natal care.
